As Technical Manager, the purpose of your role will be to develop and deliver the safety, quality, and legal framework for the business; encompassing manufacturing, distribution and suppliers, putting the customer at the heart of what they do.
Due to their continued success, the business is now looking to implement BRC and drive the business forwards, therefore there is excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to grow with the company.
This role would suit a highly motivated and ambitious individual with a solid food manufacturing technical/QA track record, together with experience in the management of accredited quality and food safety management systems. Knowledge of how to manage and implement BRC requirements is essential.
This role would suit an existing Technical Supervisor, Quality Supervisor or similar looking for a step up in their food manufacturing career.
Educated to a degree level in a food science or related biological science discipline, you will ideally be a qualified Lead Assessor and a Level 3 in Food Safety and HACCP. Microbiological food safety experience is also highly desirable.
To succeed you will have an analytical mindset and possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
The Technical Manager job is based in Surrey and is paying £35,000 – £44,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
The working hours will be standard office hours, however with some flexibility for manufacturing operations and supplier management.
