As an ASIC emulation test architect in the Microchip Data Center Solutions group, you will get to lead the test architecture for prototyping our next generation of Data Center SoC products. Using your technical and leadership expertise you will work with architecture and development teams to collaboratively define the test requirements for next generation SoC products. Job Responsibilities Job responsibilities include any of the following Lead the test architecture for prototyping Microchips next generation of Data Center SoC IP Define product emulation services including requirements, emulation IP specifications, and prototyping test plan specifications. Define strategies to meet features, quality, and product schedules Working with ASIC emulation team executing test plan providing technical leadership Collaborating with cross functional teams such as architecture, product development, and firmware on SoC performance workloads on cycle accurate emulator Engaging with other test teams in the company working on verification simulators and post silicon testing Job Requirements Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 10 years of relevant industry experience Previous experience with SoC co-verification Previous experience with SoC test architecture, test plan definition, and test automation Experience defining and building SoC test methodologies Previous experience leading team Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and documentation skills Excellent problem solving and debugging skills Excellent programming and debugging skills Experience with Verilog, System Verilog and/or VHDL Experience with SoC design and/or verification flows Experience with SoC emulation flows Experience with Cadence Palladium / Protium is an asset Experience with embedded processors (ARM/MIPS) is an asset Experience with storage protocols and interfaces is an asset (PCIe, NVMe, SAS)
