One (1) full-time, temporary Team Assistant position is currently available to support our System Flow and Capacity project with a duration of up to 6 months.


Reporting to the Senior Consultant, System Capacity and Flow, the Team Assistant provides administrative project support. The Team Assistant will ensure timely data entry, management, and analysis, which would ensure regional planning and vision of Toronto Central LHIN. The Team assistant will participate in supporting data collection and communication with the health service partners.


+ Data entry from multiple sources

+ Excel workbooks management

+ Identifies gaps and opportunities for data enhancement

+ Information validation and analysis

+ Ensures timely data submissions by HSPs

+ Contributes to the ongoing improvement of the ALC dashboard; participates in meetings and recommends changes to administrative systems and procedures

+ Identified occurrences and trends as appropriate

+ Develops and applies knowledge of medical terminology in order to research client’s records

+ Documents in accordance with Toronto Central LHIN standards


+ One (1) year of Team Assistant experience.

+ Minimum of a post-secondary diploma or degree in the health or social services field, or equivalent experience.

+ Basic excel skills are imperative

+ Exceptional client service skills

+ Knowledge of the range of community resources and programs available to assist clients and their families, including long-term care facilities.

+ Detailed-oriented with excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills to meet deadlines and solve problems.

+ Able to demonstrate good judgment

+ Ability to work in a busy environment, multi-task, take direction when necessary, and handle concurrent task without close supervision while maintaining a positive attitude in stressful situations.

+ Demonstrated reliability, adaptability, flexibility and accountability.

+ Computer literacy in a Windows environment is required, particularly Word and Excel.

+ Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
