More information can be found atwww.lafarge.ca/en/careers.The Talent Management & Learning Specialist is accountable for the design, development, and implementation of talent management programs/processes for Lafarge in Western Canada and supports the development, delivery, and measurement of strategies, initiatives, and programs that drive and improve employee performance through knowledge and skill development in alignment with our company Purpose and Values.The Talent Management & Learning Specialist role partners with key stakeholders to identify needs, design relevant processes, and scale programs for delivery and/or local implementation to employees and managers. Talent Management processes/programs include: performance management, talent planning and succession management, employee engagement surveys, talent assessments, high potential identification, and career development.Talent Management:Supports the design and implementation of talent projects through to implementation and serves as primary point of contact for escalation and problem resolution. Processes may include performance management, talent planning and succession management, career development, employee engagement surveys and talent assessments.Facilitates communication and execution activities with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g., business units, functions, COEs and vendors) through all phases of talent management programs.Leverages HR data collection and analysis processes and tools to form program/project recommendations.Leverages and applies insights from business units/functions on talent program design and implementation.Partners with the LafargeHolcim Group talent management staff and counterparts to support Group-sponsored talent management initiatives in the operations.Maintains a working knowledge of external market best practices.Recommends and supports enhancements to talent management programs/processes based on relevant best practices, external trends and advanced analyticsConfigures, administers and provides technical support for regularly-scheduled talent management processes including the Performance Management and Talent Planning processes.Provides talent management related consulting and administrative support to regional HR and business partners, as necessary.Supports the enhancement and validation of talent assessment programs, evaluating business impact and return on investment.Partners with HR Managers and WCAN Leaders to coordinate the annual talent review processes Tracks talent review development outcomesSupports career path alignment and other programs to support pipeline developmentIn partnership with regional HRMs, supports critical retiree tracking and knowledge transfer process and trackingCompiles data and develops reports on learning impact and ROI for Talent Acquisition and Development Manager.Learning and Development:Design, develop, and deliver learning and development processes and tools, including: needs analysis, course and program design and development, implementation – including scheduling and logistics, participant identification and enrollment, tracking and reporting, and instructor preparation – course facilitation, and course/program measurementPartner with business, functional, and HR leaders to align learning initiatives and create a seamless learning experience for employeesPartners with the LafargeHolcim Group learning and development staff and counterparts to support Group-sponsored talent development initiatives in the operations.Manage vendor partner relationships to ensure high quality content and facilitation aligned to business needsAssist in the creation of L & D strategies to drive business strategyProvide consultation on L & D leading practices and trends to client facing HR and business leadersCreate and implement change management and communication plans for development program roll outDesign and develop in house, customized learning content for unique business needs including instructor material, participant material, and supporting collateralDesign and develop online courses for self-directed learning solutionsOrganizational Effectiveness:Supports employee survey processes and action planningSupports culture and purpose transformation work across the regionRequired:Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience.Experience with multi-faceted, cross-functional and highly visible projects.Strong planning, organizing, communication and self-management skills.Proven working experience in talent management, performance management, talent development, organizational effectiveness, or similar role.
