Build a World-Class Team!

We are world leaders in our industry, but that doesn’t stop us from having even bigger ambitions! We offer a modern cutting-edge tech environment to work in, stimulating challenges and competitive perks. You’ll be leading and coaching your technical talent acquisition team to drive multiple initiatives.

“Leadership” and “ownership” are the keywords you need to remember. You’ll be in charge of: coaching, supervising, training and supporting your technical recruiting team; project management (such as workforce planning and new initiatives); and developing & maintaining strong relationships with all of your stakeholders. Alongside your two accomplices, your Talent Acquisition Manager and the Corporate Talent Acquisition Lead, you’ll be supported and have a safe space to challenge your ideas.

Your big projects:

  • After your Monday scrum, you review your recruiting reports from last week, there’s a bottleneck in one stage of the process. You want to review it with the recruiters and discuss possible changes.
  • Afterwards you take a look at the list of ongoing projects to review priorities. For instance, we need to review our hiring strategy for data engineers, our team is expanding rapidly. You book time with your recruiters to review current and future initiatives
  • Alongside this project, you book a meeting with your employer brand advisor to build a web campaign and review recruiting team requirements
  • Your recruiter needs your help, he’s struggling with the partnership and engagement of a manager. You coach him and share resources to help him build an action plan
  • As the end of the day is approaching, you take some time with the R&D HR Business Partner to review the workforce planning project. You want to review future plan such as high flight risk employees and internal mobility to validate your recruitment structure
  • Finally, you book a meeting with your RD leadership and their HRBP. They want to review the entire staffing process, it’ll impact how we review candidates
  • You make the most of your last 5 minutes of the day by adding a few items to discuss in the next recruitment leadership meeting. You’ll like to review the manager training projects and the new prospecting structure
  • Do you influence your peers with your leadership?

You have a strong strategic vision. To build the company of tomorrow, we’ll need you to take ownership and tackle some of our scaling challenges while leading and engaging your team. You’ll need to demonstrate these skills with concrete examples from your past experience. How have you handled significant projects with expertise and innovation? Are you action oriented while also being able to handle multiple stakeholders? Are you passionate about the candidate and hiring manager experience?

    You’ll also need:

  • Previous inhouse Talent Acquisition experience within a fast paced, tech-focused business is essential so that you can hit the ground running in our busy team. If you’ve worked in startups, or high growth businesses – all the better!
  • Experience coaching and leading a high performing team of recruiters
  • Successful track record of filling both high volume and\or specialized engineering, product and analytics roles
  • A business-focused approach and an understanding of how strategic talent acquisition impacts the success of the organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to collaborate and influence at all levels of the organisation
  • Exceptional project management skills including the ability to establish milestones, identify dependencies, and drive results all while respecting the timeframe
  • Strong organizational skills. You can handle multiple projects, deadlines and people responsibilities at once
  • A unquenchable third to understand industry best practices and to bring these to our team. We can always improve
  • You have a data driven perspective, and ability to drive a culture of making decisions with data throughout talent acquisition
  • Most importantly, to enjoy discussing technical topics and staying up to date with the technical market
  • To be bilingual in French and English – “Bonjour, Hi!”
  • If you have what it takes, send us your resume and convince us that you are the right person to take our business to the next level. Join the #Coveolife!
