The role will require working closely with other domain, test, and development teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong Object-Oriented development skills, as well as strong debugging and root cause analysis skills in a distributed software environment. The candidate must be comfortable following existing Test Automation design standards. You will be responsible to: Work in an Agile, fast-paced, and collaborative software development environment, to deliver state of the art Test Automation solutionsDefine, design, implement and maintain Object-Oriented Python3 Test Automation solutions for DCO firmware DVT infrastructureDebug and root-cause issues found during test execution on optical control firmware functionalityFile bug reports in bug tracking system, assist software developers with reproduction and triage, re-test fixes. What you need to get the job done 5 years of industry experience of auto-test in Python programmingBachelor-s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplineIntegrate auto-test SW with real HW and FWDesign/document test plans & procedures for design verification test of optical control firmware functionalities, 100G/400G/OTU4 client interface, and FW robustness.Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills to build/maintain ongoing business relationshipsGood knowledge of optoelectronic devices such as optic transceiver/client optics such as ACO, DCO, TROSA is desired.Deep understanding of optical networking OTN (G.709) or SONET/SDHExcellent experience in software and/or firmware verification and test software development using Python scripting.Familiarity with Atlassian tolls – Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence.
