Discovery Community College has openings in their

 Lower Mainland Region to instruct

Supportive Care / Crisis Response / Mental Health

(Lower Mainland)

The selected applicant(s) will instruct courses within the guidelines, and using the curriculum provided by the college.

The instruction will be through both in-house and online classrooms and in accordance to all COVID-19 protocols and procedures.

Start date for these programs are beginning and mid February 2021 and it would be a 32 hr/wk schedule – exact dates and schedule will be advised.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have:

• Certificate related to community support work / mental health / personal support

AND

• 24 months of related occupational experience

OR

• 10 years of related occupational experience

Previous teaching experience would be an asset, and good computer knowledge (Excel, Microsoft Teams etc) would be essential.
