This is a15 month Temporary Position.What you will do: Strategic planning and maintenance of the Nutrien rail fleetResponsible for all aspects of Nutrien’srail-car fleet maintenance, including:CoordinationPayment for servicesCompliance with regulatory requirements (FRA, TDG, AAR)Quality assurance (auditing) Coordination ofmaintenance with 3rd party shops, on-site facilities, and mobile repair servicesDevelop maintenance strategies that meet regulatory requirements andalign with operations plansCollaborate with rail operations, plants/sites, customers, rail regulatory team and rail carriers as neededAssist with rail fleet leases, including payment and negotiationsAssist with rail fleet planning and strategy as neededMaintenance of systems used for tracking and reportingAssist with scope of work related to new car builds as neededResponsible for mechanical data completion in various databasesWhat you will bring: University degree preferredMinimum of 5 years” experience in rail, fleet management or a technical capacityPrevious railcar maintenance knowledge is a pre-requisiteStandards compliance and rail cars regulatory framework knowledge will be considered an assetStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAnalytical skills, withstrength in excel (pivot tables, graphs, charts) and data managementCommercial experience in parts or service planning and procurementAre you a good match?
