Seeking a Back-end Software Web Developer with Cloud Services experience. Remote options available

Your new role
We are seeking a Back-end Software Web Developer (Cloud Services) to create cutting edge solutions globally in the building automation industry. You are adaptable and thrive in an ever changing environment. You have a background in working with cloud services, single server web application migration and cluster based applications. This position is available remotely.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will be working closely with a growing software development team that creates user-centric applications. Experience within cloud services is required. Cross- collaboration with hardware teams for configuration and deployment as well as cloud service team to work on the user interface. You will be contributing in all stages of development including: design, implementation, QA testing, and improvement. Key qualifications:

• 3+ years working in Agile development team (required)
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent
• Developing clean reusable fully tested code, ability to code review, participation in sprints, scrum meeting, planning and tracking requirements
• Monolithic application migration to scalable architectures (use of micro-services framework, serverless technologies, containers)
• Experience in: PostgreSQL, JS, Python, PHP, RESTful API, C/ C++
• Cloud services: GCP / AWS/ Azure
• Ability to debug C++
• Asset: experience with DNS/ Firewalls/ Proxy servers/ Firebase / TCP/IP
