What is the opportunity? Join the Canadian Payments Modernization program as a Site Reliability Engineer supporting the cloud environments on the Real Time Payments team. This is an ambitious role that will create a vital link between QE, DevOps, Development, Infrastructure and Support teams. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills and enjoys solving complex problems across components and technologies. In addition, the SRE’s responsibilities will also include developing and supporting monitoring solutions such ELK and Dynatrace across Real Time Payments applications. If you are looking for a challenging experience with opportunity to develop and support solutions across a variety of technologies then we want to hear from you.What will you do?Establish and enforcing operational procedures for PCF & OCP environmentsCoding solutions to support Operations and Development and resolving environment related issuesDB recovery procedures are created and testedMaintain and support Dynatrace dashboards across PCF environment Responsible for application ELK environment across PCF and AIX including creating and maintaining ELK infrastructure and Kibana dashboards Provide leadership and technical support for OAs, developers and DevOps engineersMaintaining and supporting QA automation infrastructure Off hours supportWhat do you need to succeed?Must-have7+ years of experience in an application development or support roleStrong Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and OCP working knowledge with experience and understanding of CICD pipeline and DevOps / Agile MethodologyExperience working DB/2 & SQL DBsExperience with ELK infrastructures with strong knowledge of KibanaWorking knowledge of DynatraceStrong problem solving skills and leadership skillsNice-to-haveKnowledge of deploying and supporting distributed applications University/College Graduate, preferably graduate in computer science, finance, mathematics or physical scienceWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
