Reporting to the Regional Branch Manager, the Service Manager is responsible for but not limited to developing and engaging a team of service employees that will offer legendary customer service to all customers, enhancing the company brand and reputation while working toward business objectives.

Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth through developing strong customer relationships by maintaining regular contact with customers, visiting operational environments and seeking feedback
Take ownership of customer issues and ensure disputed invoices and other concerns are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
Mentor, develop, recruit, onboard and train employees; nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment with regular ongoing feedback; conduct annual performance reviews
Develop and enforce service procedures, policies and standards
Responsible for service department budgets and expenditures – meet objectives through forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions with additional focus on labor utilization and cost recoveries.
Maintains all Service Warranties, all OEM claims, internal warranty and policy adjustments
Responsible for invoicing accuracy Check service reports as they arrive from the field (tune ups, overhaul, oil & gas samples, etc.) Oversee Service WIP, accruals
Keep ahead of industry’s developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement
Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities
Actively support and enforece company HR and HSE policies
Other duties as assigned
Power Generation and Gas Compression industry experience is considered an asset
Demonstrated leadership skills which include: ability to lead, direct, motivate and supervise team members considered an asset
Effective interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills
Ability to think strategically, troubleshoot and multi-task
Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
Proficient computer skills – MS Office, SAP experience considered an asset
Must be able to travel within the region
