Position Description

Works with both local and global teams to ensure imaging and device management complies with any government or contractual requirements (CMMC, UK MoD, Canadian ITSG, NIST, et al.)
Uses company vulnerability reports to update images and devices to correct any outstanding items. The reports may come from UK Mod, CIS, IT Security and others.
Design and maintenance of the Windows 10 Operating system global image for efficient deployment across the global locations of the enterprise.
Design and implement process for local customization of Windows 10 operating system global image for efficient deployment at the manufacturing sites
Scope and incorporate standard set of applications to be included and pre-configured by default in the global Windows 10 operating system image
Process definition, scope, testing and execution of the Windows 10 Operating System build upgrades and security patching
Packaging and publishing of company standard Windows 10 apps on the Software Stores for seamless download
Ensure standard set of apps for Windows 10 OS are kept to date with appropriate release and security patching across the enterprise
Define standards and manage global tools and process for remote device management (e.g. SCCM and Desktop Central, Patch my PC, GPO, and scripting, etc)
Incorporate improvements to the laptops & workstations Windows 10 configuration to improve end user experience and reduce Help Desk recurrent service calls
Define and management process for end user devices asset management and employee assignment
Responsible for design, management and implementation of standard secure configuration for mobile devices across the enterprise (e.g. standard apps, security settings, onboarding and off-boarding of devices)
Responsible for design & management of Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools (e.g. BES)
Incorporate improvements to the mobile devices configuration to improve employee experience and reduce Help Desk recurrent service calls
Partner with infrastructure team (Service Desk Support) to define standards for hardware procurement for best compatibility with software and user experience
Uses corporate tools to review and correct 3rd party application vulnerabilities and licensing (Adobe, Java, Firefox, Chrome, etc.).

Additional requirements

Provides management with information regarding current and future technologies as it pertains to organizational needs, improving systems currently in place, and identifying opportunities for further enhancements.
Assists in Server hardware infrastructure planning and implementation, including hardware preparation (e.g., disk analysis), Server operating system and application load, configuration and administration, client operating systems installations and administration, support agreements, Security administration and delegation.
Provides internal consulting, technical guidance, information and support to application developers, workstation support, company management and departmental clients.
Researches, evaluates and recommends new Server, Storage and Backup equipment and technologies.
Performs advanced troubleshooting concerning systems operation; diagnoses system hardware, software,
and computer problems based on knowledge of system operation.
Devises solutions to complex operational problems within the capacity and operational limitations of installed equipment.
Responsible for the professional development of Associate Server Administrators and Support staff. Provides opportunities for skill development through on-the-job training experiences.
Utilizes monitoring, performance analysis, network management, software and hardware equipment to troubleshoot and isolate problems, gauge network server performance and continuously improve infrastructure reliability, availability and service.
Develops and executes contingency plans for hardware and software failures including isolated and major outages.
Maintains integrity of the hardware/software inventory database.
Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
Carries out special projects and duties as assigned.
Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group.
Travel may be required as all Specific Accountabilities are Global in nature covering North America, Pacific Rim, and Europe

Technical Requirements

Thorough knowledge of Black Berry Enterprise Server (BES), SCCM, Windows Server 2012R2, 2016
Thorough knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, Wins, RDP, DHCP etc.
Excellent analytical, decision making, leadership, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
College diploma in information technology; or equivalent.
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer; or equivalent.
5 years of progressively responsible experience in data processing, including computer network support duties.

Desired Assets

Thorough knowledge of Backup and Recovery using Backup Exec/Commvault/DLO/Dedup
Thorough knowledge of VMWare 6.5, Server operating systems and Active Directory (i.e., Server 2012/2016).
Thorough knowledge of NPS, Web Application Proxy, PKI, ADFS
Thorough knowledge of IBM storage devices v7000/v5000, IBM Flex Server

Technical Assets

Working knowledge of SCCM/SMS, Citrix, MDM, WSUS, MDT, IIS, ISA, AV, Streaming Video
Working knowledge of Blade Centers, SAN and Fiber channel Storage, Management Software
Experience with Clustered Services (MSCS, NLB)
Knowledge of IBM Power System

Position Requirements
