As the enabling business unit and technology steward, Technology Strategy and Business Transformation (TSBT) is embracing and leveraging cloud-native, as an integral part of our focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for our business and our customers.

Within the TSBT business unit, the TELUS Cloud Infrastructure team plays an integral part in this journey. Both our data centre infrastructure and our NFV/SDN network are evolving to leverage the advantages cloud technology brings. The Strategy Development and Enablement team supports the planning, coordination and execution of the strategic programs and initiatives that will bring our future vision to life.

As a Senior Strategy Manager, you will support our business and our team by working with leadership on programs that will move our corporate systems to the public cloud, ensure our team is future-ready by supporting the development of technical and leadership skills, and design operational processes for financial management of a new cost model. You will work with the leadership team in the annual development of our business strategy, the creation of executive storyboards and communication of our strategy to our team. **Here’s how**

+ Work with Program leadership to develop governance and communication structure and templates

+ Develop executive level presentation material and support efforts to socialize and get buy in from senior leaders for strategic initiatives and strategy development

+ Work with the team to develop business cases as required

+ Work with the team to refresh, track and monitor project financial performance using an agile approach for the corporate systems migration project

+ Build and evolve processes, including reporting and communication of Google Cloud Platform costs to business users, ensuring costs are charged back in a timely and accurate manner.

+ Manage and evolve the Cloud Infrastructure Mentorship Program

+ Represent TSBT in the TSBT technical training program, working closely with VP primes to meet technical training requirements for working on the Google Cloud Platform

+ Support communication of transformational information to the team through multiple channels.

+ Lead strategic initiatives as required, as the business evolves


**You’re the missing piece of the puzzle**

+ Valued for your 7 years of experience in a Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or Research Firm setting

+ Advanced analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills with a sharp eye for quality and detail

+ Skilled in using a range of tools to collect, organize, interpret and summarize data, identifying trends and patterns to inform strategy

+ Outstanding written communication and visual storytelling (presentation) skills

+ Proven ability to quickly grasp complex, multi-dimensional concepts and succinctly distill them into clear and meaningful communications for any audience

+ Known for our collaborative and approachable style, even in the most stressful and dynamic environments, as well as your ability to work with team members and leaders at all levels

+ Demonstrated skills in project management

+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft and Google applications including PowerPoint and Google Slides

+ Deep interest in telecommunications and technology industry


+ Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline

+ Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree or equivalent

+ French speaking is an asset
