• Key contributor to a new category defining product

• Full stack experience from front-end UI technologies to back-end data processing and modelling.

Who You Are:

• Experience building large-scale cloud data platforms with microservices.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Scala.
• Experience designing, developing, deploying and operating your services in native Cloud environment for production usage.

• Experience bringing SLOs to life by providing comprehensive monitoring and actionable alerts.

• A desire for operational excellence such as enforcing best practices, creating and maintaining runbooks, creating and improving processes, creating valued monitoring and actionable alerts.

• A self starter with the ability to work effectively in teams with excellent spoken / written communication
• Smart, humble, and empathetic
• Have a strong sense of teamwork and put the team’s and company’s interests first
• Driven and excited about the challenges of a fast-paced, innovative software startup-like environment
• In-depth knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL). Experience building complex logic and optimizing database performance and configuration. 

What gives you an edge:

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Experience working with AWS services and environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
