The LRSS project is a complex project that involves the integration of a surveillance system atop a telescoping mast that is integrated onto a Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV). LRSS is in the Implementation phase and requires study of outstanding risks and issues prior to the start of fielding. There are risks associated with qualification testing, with systems engineering, with Integrated Logistics Systems, with fielding, with customer expectation, and with the correct operational use of the system. The LRSS project requires a Senior Risk Management Specialist to provide risk management services in order to reduce the inherent risks of a complex project.
Duties:
Qualifications:
– Post secondary degree
– Experience conducting risk assessments
– 36 months of experience as a member of a military vehicle project management team
