Our Greater Vancouver Area location is looking for a capable Senior Recruiter to primarily support our ever growing Advisory practice and pivot to other areas of our business as required. We are looking for someone who is interested in working with our leaders and their teams in a creative and strategic manner to find the right talent in order to attain our growth goals.

What you will do

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for our Advisory function in the Greater Vancouver area
  • Develop and provide comprehensive talent maps and pipelines for the region, via direct sourcing and proactive networking with targeted talent
  • Recommend best search practices to attract top talent
  • Advise on the competitive landscape of the market and create a strategic recruitment plan across groups
  • Conduct a thorough needs analysis with Hiring Managers to plan for current and future needs
  • Ensure quality hiring is achieved by advising Hiring Managers on recruitment processes
  • Utilize LinkedIn – and other social networks – to promote the KPMG brand and attract candidates to KPMG
  • Submit detailed profile write-ups and recommendations when presenting suitable candidates to aid in selecting appropriate candidates for interviews
  • Act as a brand ambassador for KPMG to ensure candidates are provided with a positive recruitment experience
  • Provide guidance to Hiring Managers in completing the recruitment cycle and ensuring a proper close off
  • Provide regular communication and updates to the Partners in the region

What you bring to the role

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma
  • Minimum of 5 years of full cycle recruitment experience ideally in a mix of high-volume national organization, Executive/Contingency Search and/or Corporate recruitment environments
  • Recruitment experience in professional services environment would be considered a nice to have
  • Tax, Audit and/or Advisory search experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal and exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Be known as someone with the capability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Flexibility and an understanding of working as one team collaboratively
  • Experience providing guidance to Hiring Managers and handling expectations applicably
  • Demonstrated use of effective and best in class sourcing and candidate generation techniques
  • Commitment to delivering high value recruitment service
  • Strong ability and experience in prioritizing work based on requirements of multiple stakeholders
