Also responsible for helping the Project Director to develop and standardize all Projects Execution Plan to support the deployment of FoodX eGrocery system and the associated infrastructure.Initially, the role will focus on the current projects but the scope will broaden as other projects are added to the portfolio. PMO is expected to evolve into managing a portfolio as more simultaneous deployments are scheduledSupport the development of standardized proposal documentsManage and prioritize the overall project pipeline and assign project leads to deploy projectsDevelop Standardized Project Plans that include:o Objectives, deliverables & milestoneso Scope & specificationso Budgeto Work-plano Resource requirementso Roles and responsibilitiesEffectively iterate and improve our process based on Lessons Learned from Post Project ReviewsManage project scope, progress, milestones and deliverableso Identify scope/engineering changes that warrant negotiation and determine the impact on timing, cost, and capabilityo Ensure scope changes are approved by stakeholdersIssues Management, Metrics & Reportingo Manage/coordinate activities of all core team members.o Decide which issues to follow and track to prevent project slippage and resolve issueso Prepare and maintain agreed upon project metricso Manage Project Risk through identification and development of contingencieso Executive reporting of project progress using standard project reporting formatBudget and financial controlo Monitor and control costs associated with project execution, including: employees” costs, capital costs and allocated expenses and costs that are likely influenced by other functions (engineering, construction, technology, purchasing etc).o Evaluate changes to NPV/IRR based on scope changes that impact cost estimatesManage project team resourceso Determine need for technical resources and manage activities from x-functional groupso Negotiate and contract with functional managers for resourceso Clearly articulate project team members roles and responsibilitieso Evaluate team member contributionsTeam and Personal Developmento Develop & mentor project managers and analysts to enable their professional growtho Gain a comprehensive understanding of our business and contribute to its improvemento Identify opportunities to scale our global operations and expand our feature offeringAdditional duties as requierdUndergraduate degree in Engineering or Business (MBA or PMP certification is a bonus)7 years+ of hands-on, structured project management experience with large-scale/complex projectsThorough knowledge of project management practices, disciplines, tools, and methodologies, including: Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma (certification is a bonus)Understanding of electrical/electronic systems and controls and mechanical devicesExcellent computer skills (MS Office Suite, Teams) and familiar with Project Management software such as MS ProjectDemonstrated experience in leading and developing a team of project managers and coordinatorsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to travel internationally approximately 50%Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with operational modeling capabilityExceptional relationship and stakeholder management, with the ability to influence, communicate, and present ideas in a structured and persuasive mannerAble to thrive independently in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous and constantly evolving high growth environmentAn annual salary, paid bi-weeklyJoin now and receive an initial $250.00 of SPUD credit, and another $250.00 of SPUD credit after six months of employment ($500.00 total)Must have a valid SPUD.ca account and be employed at the time of the credit administration (processed monthly)20% discount on SPUD.ca purchasesExtended Health Care Benefits (after 90 days) including: massage therapy, acupuncture, naturopath, physiotherapy, psychologist, chiropractor, 80% dental and prescriptions covered, life insurance, travel insurance, discounted eye exam- and more
