Reporting to the Director, Applications Solutions, you will be responsible for product management of enterprise tools and processes. Our team creates technology solutions to business challenges! They develop, deliver and support technology solutions based on company and stakeholder visions and objectives. Solutions have included SaaS products, internally developed applications, process change/definition and more! To this end, they will lead a small team of 4 product specialists managing applications supporting finance, rights management, distribution, television, HR and IT departments.What You’ll Do: Lead a team of 4 product specialists through coaching, priority setting and goal alignmentWork with product teams to define vision and set goals for new and existing technology product development and implementationWith the Director, Application Solutions, define direction on tools and techniques for product ownership to continually improve on support of business operationsCollaborate on WildBrain policies and practices to support governance initiativesDefine and make ongoing improvements to user/change management processes for multiple applicationsWith product specialists, plan upgrades and application technical maintenance as requiredWork with the Director, Application Solutions and operations stakeholders to define strategy for evolution of enterprise software/systemsWork with team to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to reduce duplication of work and ensure data integrityWork with business units to define new initiatives through internal discovery, collaboration with team and industry researchCreate requirements and user flow documentation and user-alignment as requiredDevelop understanding of cross-departmental business processes and dataflowsWork with your team of product specialists for product/project planningWork with Senior Project Manager, Application Solutions for new initiative resourcing and large project trackingPresent business options for new or existing systems to executive level decision makersCoordinate with vendors, legal, and business owners during contract negotiations and renewalsOversee standards and participate in UI/UX, design, development, QA and UAT (as required)Work with team to create implementation/transition plans for stakeholders from current to new processesWork with users, product specialists and service desk to create and maintain training plans and documentation where requiredWhat You’ll Bring:5+ years of experience managing a team of product owners or similarExperience working on development projects and large SaaS solution implementationsSolid grasp of key business and technology disciplines within IT (Governance, Security, DevOps, SDLC and Agile) Superior oral and written communication skillsGood team player able to handle conflict in a fast-paced environmentExperience with continuous improvement within project teams including team charters, meeting facilitation retrospectivesStrong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skillsProven track record of building relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and peersExperience with MS365, ServiceNow, Salesforce enterprise software a plusExperience with enterprise content management and/or data management systems a plusFamiliarity with SQL based database reporting a plusWhat We Bring:Working at WildBrain is more than a job — it’s the opportunity to join forces with extraordinary, insightful and imaginative people who will recognize your talents and encourage your professional growth and development in a work environment that promotes creativity and individuality.
