Summary:Reporting to the Calgary Operations Director, the Senior Plant Engineering & Reliability Manager is responsible for facilities and maintenance management. This includes planning and implementing efficiencies within current facilities and future development and/or expansion of capacity and facilities. She/he coach and/or supervises Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance staff, addressing day-to-day equipment, process challenges and is responsible for plant process reliability improvement plans and results.Key Accountabilities: Ensure efficient operation of equipment and plant services including cost control, safety and product qualityProvide leadership for plant engineering group, and oversee the smooth operational support for power engineering group;Develop and manage annual Maintenance/Engineering Department Budget, analyzing opportunities for cost savings;Document and maintain standard operating procedures, including user manuals and training materials;Supervision of maintenance staff;Ensure compliance with HACCP and government regulations, maintain all relevant documentation. Requirements:Minimum of five years management experience in trade/engineering-oriented function;Qualification in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering preferred, Mechanical Millwright License/Licensed Electrician will be considered as well;Working knowledge of CAD System and Blueprints;Class “A” Refrigeration engineering ticket;Working knowledge of ammonia plant operations including powerhouse support;Strong project management skills in planning, scheduling, assigning, budgeting and management.
