In this role, you will be accountable for:

The Deloitte Canada Chief People and Culture Office (CCPO) has developed a Culture and People Strategy built on four pillars – I am Valued, I am Connected, I am Thriving, and I am Inspired and Empowered. In this role, you will be a leader within our Workplace Experience team leading agile project teams within our I am Connected Pillar. This pillar is focused on ensuring our people are supported by leaders and feel part of an ecosystem. Areas of focus within this pillar will include the development of a people listening strategy, partnering with our recruitment team to ideate and implement a world class recruitment experience and working to ensure our new hires have an onboarding experience that can only be achieved in a category of one.

What will your typical day look like?

This role will draw on a flexible pool of resources, mobilizing a team with the right capabilities to execute scalable solutions with an agile ‘fail fast, learn faster’ mindset. This role will also combine feedback from the business with deep knowledge of talent acquisition, onboarding best practices and leading-edge connection and collaboration tools to develop programs and offerings that help to shape our talent experience.

In this role, your key responsibilities are to:

  • Work closely with leaders in People Experience and Business Experience to gather and interpret client feedback, better understand business needs, and generate innovative solutions
  • Apply deep knowledge of disruptive trends and competitor activity in recruitment, employee sentiment gathering and onboarding best practices
  • Innovate by applying human-centered design principles in the creation and maintenance of programs and processes; develop practical documentation, tools, activities, and designs
  • Provide coaching, guidance, training and motivation to your assigned team(s) to support development and collaboration; monitor team and individual performance against expectations
  • Manage project risk and inform the Lead, Workplace Experience and Lead, Portfolio Management, of any critical project-related issues that may present risk to CCPO or business operations through the appropriate governance channels

You are someone who has expertise in the following areas:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in in one or more of the following areas (ideally in a human resource environment or consulting environment): Employee Experience; Recruitment; Human-Centred Design; Change Management, Total Rewards, and/or Project Management
  • Direct exposure to recruitment and onboarding best practices
  • Experience gathering employee feedback through an array of tools and channels and demonstrated experience using this feedback to influence key talent priorities and activities
  • Demonstrated Project Management Experience, assembling teams and rallying them to drive transformation efforts
  • Embracing a digital world to envision and build new business models, tools, and ways of working
  • Working iteratively to develop and advance initiatives and solutions, leveraging agile methodologies to improve quality and value, while focusing on the end-customer through human-centric design
