We are seeking a Senior Leader, Project Support & Results Office to hold leadership accountability for the successful delivery and achievement of projects through the phases of the Burnaby Renewal Project.

The Burnaby Hospital Renewal Project is a multi-year, multi-phase project with an initial focus on a new inpatient/outpatient tower, and support facilities building expansion and renovation. This project is complex and will be comprised of new construction, demolition, renovations and various upgrades. Upon completion, the Burnaby campus will have two new patient care towers, an expanded emergency department, a new cancer treatment centre, and ultimately increase its acute care beds from 259 to 400.

This Regular Full Time opportunity is located at Burnaby Hospital in Burnaby, BC and will allow you to make a difference in the communities we live and serve.

Build on your education and experience as you:

•Lead the Project Support & Results Office and the portfolio of projects ensuring the successful transition from project deliver to operational implementation •Establish PSRO operating processes, and standards to facilitate the planning, design and implementation of capital programs •Ensure project management processes optimizes efficiency and meets established standards for all project management components •Plan and develop business and project management processes, workflow models, standards and tools in support of project service delivery teams. •Provide strong and effective leadership, technical guidance, coaching, training, mentorship and human resource management to assigned project staff and contractors •Lead development, maintenance and distribution of reports in relation to project management controls •Plan, implement, and improve project management best practices and tool sets to streamline project processes / procedures and maximize operational effectiveness. •Build strong relationships with the team, vendors, stakeholders, & ensure the delivery of effective, client-focused services.

Are you motivated to join our team? We will be looking for you to have the following:

•A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related discipline •Certification in Project Management (PMP) •10 years progressive project management experience inclusive of a major complex capital project and three (3) years in a leadership capacity in a PMO environment •An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be acceptable
