Fast-growing Montreal web agency is looking for a senior or highly skilled intermediate fullstack developer with professional experience with VueJS and NodeJS to join its awesome team. This is a mostly remote position with occasional visits to the Montreal or Sherbrooke office once the pandemic ends (fingers crossed!).

Must-haves:

• Strong proficiency with JavaScript
• Professional experience with VueJS and NodeJS
• Experience with MongoDB
• Experience with RESTful web services using Spring
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Bilingual French and English 🙂

Bonus points if :

• Professional experience with cloud-based environments (Google, Azure, AWS)
• Have scrum-based work environment experience
• Knowledge of automated testing platforms
• Experience in SOA, Distributed Systems and/or Microservices
• Familiarity with the Atlassian suite
