Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst position is responsible for supporting financial planning and analysis activities of the business. We are looking for a senior professional whose key responsibilities will include providing oversight of operational P&Ls, headcount, support and analysis to Corporate FP&A, Management executives and business leaders in addition to general support of all FP&A planning and forecasting activities.
Success in this role will require an open mind with flexibility and ability to influence stakeholders to resolve concerns and revised outcomes that appear. The role will have significant interaction with the Senior Leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Financial Analysis
This position is expected to provide timely, relevant and accurate analysis of the results of the business unit’s performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan.
Model, analyze, communicate and be the advisor of the key metrics and drivers of the business unit performance (against history, budget, forecast, strategic plan, and competition).
2. Planning & Forecasting
This position is expected to support the financial planning activities of the business in a manner that yields challenging, but achievable, strategic plans, budgets and forecasts and provides clear understanding of results.
3. Special Projects
This position is expected to possess the skills and initiative to carry out special financial planning and/or analysis of projects of varying nature and complexity with limited supervision by clarifying objectives and assumptions or making appropriate judgments where necessary.
This may include calculating and administering commissions, analysis of competition, financial metrics, process improvement initiatives or projects related to business unit objectives.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Good knowledge of GAAP
Ability to analyze and solve complex business problems
Excellent communication skills
Excellent financial systems and process skills
Excellent Excel skills
SAP, TM1 and SharePoint a plus
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. MBA a plus

Advanced financial modeling skills
Excellent computer skills including advanced MS Excel skills, working with an ERP system (SAP or similar), Financial planning system (TM1 or similar).
