The Company

Adamson Systems Engineering is a recognized leader in the world of live performance audio systems. We’ve been doing this for more than thirty years; we are now expanding aggressively.

We are doubling the size of our Engineering and Product Development Team and we need the best people we can find. We want engineers that will push boundaries, look for a difficult challenge and find a solution where others fail.

Experience and Skills:

Deep understanding of power electronics

  • SMPS (2.6kW +)
  • Regulation principles
  • DC/DC converters
  • PFC principles and implementation
  • Gate drive topology
  • PWM
  • Magnetics
  • EMI/EMC Compliance procedures

Experience with Class “D” power amplifiers is a strong benefit

Specification development

Schematic development

Circuit simulation (Spice)

PCB simulation

PCB Layout

  • Proficiency with Altium Designer is a plus
  • P/E board design
  • HV and grounding rules

Skilled with required lab test equipment

Prototyping/board bring up

Design for manufacture
