You’ll bring a deep understanding of big data and will help to build and enable big data analytics solutions. The ideal candidate is innovative, collaborative, determined and takes great pride in their work.  You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with scientists and engineers to design, build, test, deploy, and monitor lean, scalable machine learning, statistical, and rule-based products that influence critical real-world decisions. The Role:Code, test, and document new or modified data systems to create robust and scalable applications for data analyticsBuild and optimize ML models and pipelinesProcess, cleanse, verify and work with data from multiple sourcesWork with the data team to access and understand internal and external data sourcesDevelop algorithms and build models to solve business problems. Develop metrics and dashboards to measure and track the value of the solutionsWork with management and application architect to enhance data collection proceduresCollaborate with business team to derive high value insights from client dataCollaborate with solution engineers to integrate pipelines into our proprietary applicationsBring your great ideas for new products and features to the business teamLead development decision and optimization frameworks to solve critical decision problemsMentor junior team members and provide technical leadership The ideal Candidate:Masters or PhD in data science, computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline3+ years of industry experience in applied machine learning, predictive modeling and data-driven applications is preferredStrong data intuition, deep knowledge in data modeling, statistical inference, machine learning, and other quantitative approaches; clustering and classification techniques, causal analysis is a plusOutstanding in Python or another high-level language (Scala, C#, Java) skillsComfortable using Scikit learn, Numpy, Pandas, and kerasExperience solving analytical problems using quantitative approachesProven track record delivering lean solutions to complex research problemsDeep understanding of research design and software designHighly analytical and detail orientedAbility to design and present complex data sets in a variety of visually compelling formatsExcellent communication (both written and verbal), organizational, and trouble-shooting skillsUnderstanding of time series data as well as analysis and modeling techniques Nice to have: Experience with a data visualization tool like Power BI or Tableau Experience with an ETL tool like SSIS  Thank you for your interest in this job posting.
