The position of Senior Corporate Financial Analyst will commit to incorporate our mission, vision, and our values, which are Compassion, Collaboration, Respect, Social Justice, Integrity and Stewardship, and uphold our ethical traditions as foundational aspects in all actions and decision-making.Position Summary:The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting the Manager, Business Support and Reporting with management reporting, external stakeholder reporting, financial analysis and education to operational managers and administrative staff, and budget preparation and maintenance.Main Functions of Job:Assisting with the preparation of the operating and capital budgets.Providing support to sites on budgets and monitoring (e.g. monthly variance reporting).Preparing financial analysis of impact of new sites / programs / contracts.Preparing performance measurement information to ensure that the program resources are efficiently and effectively acquired, maintained, and deployed.Compiling information for reporting to senior management, Board and external stakeholders.Qualifications:A professional designation (CPA) with background experience based on duties outlined.The candidate must possess several years’ experience with budgeting and financial analysis.A high commitment to providing quality customer service.Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with solid analytical skills.Creativity, innovation, and a commitment to participate in a team environment.A high proficiency with computers and software including Microsoft Word and Excel.Excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal, and prioritization skills.Ability to work independently.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Flexibility to work overtime as necessary.Experience within health care or a not-for-profit environment is an asset along with knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Management Reporter and financial and statistical methodologies and practices.Only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.All employees new to CovenantCare+ Covenant Living must provide a criminal records check, including vulnerable sector search.Covenant Care + CovenantLiving is committed to an inclusive work environment and encourages all qualified individuals to apply.We thank youin advance for applying with Covenant Care + Covenant Living.
