As a Business Consultant, you will report directly to the Director, Project Management Office (PMO). You will be responsible for developing and improving our business processes. You will work on various strategic initiatives in partnership with teams from across the organization to deliver value to our clients and team members. You will also work with the PMO’s management team to improve our practices and identify and implement strategic in-depth changes. Responsibilities 1. Lead cross-functional teams in rolling out process improvements and implementing strategies to effectively deliver distinctive solutions to our customers and team members 2. Provide expert business advice to develop complex solutions and optimize our end-to-end processes 3. Take over a number of process-related projects or large, complex programs 4. Take part in opportunity assessments and business plan activities 5. Identify opportunities and manage strategic transformation projects 6. Implement and develop a business analysis centre of excellence within the PMO Skills, Knowledge and habilities Known for successfully leading and progressing multiple, concurrent projects to completion on time, budget and scope, including setting objective/goals, developing schedules, prioritizing activities, and anticipating and overcoming roadblocks Excellent understanding of business analysis and process related methodologies combined with multiple years of experience in various complex projects Valued for your strategic and creative thinking and ability to come up with innovative ideas and solutions Recognized as a strong collaborative team player who is able to influence and negotiate with all levels of management including cross functional teams and senior executives Skilled in financial acumen, budget management, and reporting Confident with interacting, facilitating, and presenting to a wide audience with solid written and verbal communication Bilingual (French and English) Respected for your proactive organizational, planning and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment to meet business needs Education Experience University degree in business administration/commerce/management 7-10 years of experience in business analysis, project management and/or transformational management Great-to-have Great understanding of business analysis methodologies (CBAP/CCBA certifications is an asset) Knowledge of process development and continuous improvement methodologies Project management certification is an asset Experience in telecommunications or TI is an asset Who is TELUS?
