Job Description Aon is looking for a Senior Analyst, Financial Risk ConsultingAs part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Aon Investment Management business group within Aon, in Montreal. Your impact as a Senior Analyst, Financial RIsk Consulting Job Responsibilities:Responsible for providing investment consulting services (asset mix reviews, asset-liability studies, libility-driven investing, dynamic investment strategies, etc.) and analytical support to a wide range of clients including defined-benefit and defined-contribution pension plans, foundations and endowments, insurance funds and investment platforms;Participate in modeling different investment strategies;Participate in establishing implementation plans for various risk reduction strategies; Produce risk analysis, including review of funding policies and spending policies;Anticipates client issues, needs or concerns and proactively develops solutions to meet those needs; Contribute to research and development of new risk management tools;Improve and maintain the tools related to the different risk management projects;Collaborate with other colleagues on various mandates to achieve client-oriented results;Makes and/or assists in oral presentations to clients or prospects, as part of a team or individually. You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience:2 to 5 years of experience in retirement consulting or an institutional money management environment;Experience in asset-liability modeling;Thorough knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint;Skills and interest in programming (Visual Basic, Matlab, R…);Strong interest in investment and financial modelling;Bilingualism, spoken and written;Excellent client relationship skills;An interest in and aptitude for working in teams;Autonomous, solutions-driven and detail-oriented;Results-oriented, able to balance multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines. Preferred Experience:Designation of ASA or AICA of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, or;CFA Charterholder or enrolled in the CFA program. Education:Bachelor’s degree in actuarial sciences, mathematics or administration (finance or economy).
