Sales Manager (gaming) – Downtown Montreal Northeast

Our client is a large, well-established and rapidly growing IT services company that’s run like a start up. They are big in the gaming world and within technology more broadly, and are looking for a Sales Manager (individual contributor) with a client base in gaming to generate new business for all of their business lines, including custom software engineering and app development services, QA, localization, audio production, and customer support. This is a remote position that can be based in Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver! While you would have support from a marketing team for lead generation, hunting net new accounts will be the focus of the role and the ideal candidate is comfortable sourcing their own leads and managing a full sales cycle. Ideal candidates should have 5+ years of experience selling at least one of their business lines into gaming companies and a client network in gaming. This role offers excellent base and OTE and the opportunity to join a well-established company where you’d have the backing of a supportive C level team behind you. Requirements You have 5+ years of Sales/Business Development experience in selling managed or outsourced services Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager by consistently meeting and exceeding targets Ability to creatively and proactively meet and exceed sales targets Strong business sense and industry expertise You are capable of generating qualified leads and assess prospect value Flexible and adaptable to continuous change Self-motivated, energetic, creative and autonomously Tech savvy and proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences You excel working within a collaborative and multinational environment Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization You possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English Functional verbal French communication if based out of Montreal, Quebec, Canada An existing network of contacts in the gaming and technology industry is a huge plus Benefits What we offer Competitive salary with performance base incentives Full time and permanent position Comprehensive Group Insurance coverage Paid vacation and sick leave Flexible work schedule and flexibility to work from home Growth opportunities
