Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive goods, inventory palates, boxes and crates and verify accuracy of incoming orders
• Maintain inventory in the front and stock shelves and ensure products are priced properly
• Greet customers and provide positive customer experience
• Be knowledgeable on products and services and ability to recommend products
• Explain use, benefits and function of merchandise to customers and answer any questions
• Add up customers’ total purchases and accept payment and complete transactions
• General cleaning duties to keep store tidy and organized
• Knowledge of current sales and promotions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years previous experience in sales or retail
• Knowledge and experience with cannabis products required
• Gardening experience and skills are required
• Previous horticulture experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Friendly, personable and maintains professionalism
• Attention to detail and organized

Working Conditions and Other Information

• This position requires you to work in a retail store front
• You will be standing for 90% of the time and will need to be able to lift up to 50lbs
• You may be required to work overtime hours during peak processing periods
• Must have ability to drive and have personal transportation
• Must be flexible and open to working morning and evening shifts and/or shift work
