Fast-growing Montreal web agency is looking for a senior or highly skilled intermediate fullstack Ruby On Rails developer with some professional experience with React or other MVC frameworks. This is a mostly remote position with occasional visits to the Montreal office once the pandemic ends (fingers crossed!).

Must-haves:

• Experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque
• Experience with React or other MVC frameworks
• Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Good understanding of CSS, SASS
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{e.g. Git, Mercurial or SVN}}
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Bilingual French and English 🙂

Bonus points if :

• Professional experience with cloud-based environments (Google, Azure, AWS)
• Have scrum-based work environment experience
• Knowledge of automated testing platforms
• Familiarity with the Atlassian suite
