We currently have an opportunity for a Community Mental Health Nurse in our Geriatric Program located in Port Moody/Coquitlam/Port Coquitlam, British Columbia.
This position offers you the opportunity to:
- •Provide care to elderly clients with mental illnesses •Work as part of a multidisciplinary team •Use evidence based practices through direct care activities, nursing assessments, crisis intervention, treatment and group facilitation
To be the successful candidate, you will have:
- •Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) •Recent 2 years’ experience working with mentally ill elderly clients •Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and access to personal vehicle
