The Acquisition Group is expanding and so is our Human Resources team. We are looking to add a Recruitment Specialist to our dynamic work family.As a successful candidate, you will join us with a focus on high-volume recruitment. You are an adaptable, highly organized, detail-oriented, solution-driven individual and committed to providing a high level of client service. You thrive in challenging roles where you are part of a high-performing team and are an effective and clear communicator both verbally and in writing, who can easily articulate information. A relevant post-secondary degree or certificate is an asset. Experience recruiting would be considered an asset. Due to the nature of our business, we are looking for someone to learn the basics of Sales and Marketing first before advancing into the role. We find that experiential knowledge of our day-to-day operations, company culture, and corporate structure is essential to be successful in a Recruiting and Human Resources role. Therefore, all candidates wishing to be considered for the role will be willing to start in an Entry Level Direct Sales and Marketing role for a maximum of 2 weeks.

Location: Burnaby, BCDress code: Business CasualHours: Full Time 40+ hours per week. In-office, Monday to Friday 9:00 am-5:30 pm (evenings and weekends as needed)

RESPONSIBILITIES?

+ Lead full-cycle recruitment for a specific portfolio from start to finish of frontline, and potentially specialty positions.

+ Maintain up-to-date job postings and measure effectiveness

+ Cold calling off of resume banks

+ Review resumes and screen candidates

+ Schedule and coordinate interviews for General Managers

+ Respond to telephone and written inquiries from candidates and existing team members

+ Reference and criminal background checks

+ Assist with onboarding

+ Preparation of contracts

+ Participates in relevant job fairs, conferences, workshops, and learning opportunities

+ Social media monitoring and support

+ Generate and update tracking spreadsheets utilizing Microsoft Excel

+ General office administration as needed

REQUIREMENTS?

+ Previous recruitment experience is an asset

+ HR education preferred

+ Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel

+ Minimum typing of 50+ wpm

+ Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check

+ Legally allowed to work full time in Canada

+ 18+ years of age
