This position delivers high quality professional candidates and advances the Lafarge brand across numerous markets and professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the Lafarge recruitment and selection process. This individual will perform full lifecycle recruiting and maintain excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, the HR team, and the community at-large. A wide degree of customer focus, business understanding, and time management are required. This position will also contribute to a variety of HR related projects across Canada.Health & Safety:Demonstrates a commitment to a safe work environmentUnderstands the safety objectives of the organization and supports these efforts in a visible mannerCommunicates our Health & Safety culture to all prospective candidates throughout the recruitment processIncorporates Health & Safety messaging in all external and internal recruitment communicationRecruitment &Workforce Planning:Full lifecycle recruiting for all salaried vacancies, in collaboration with the HR Team and Hiring ManagersDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with Lafarge leaders, understanding key drivers to their business, working hands-on to proactively help Hiring Managers build successful teamsMaintain a time to fill of 45 days or less on all open positionsLeverage online recruiting resources and in-house Applicant Tracking System to identify and recruit the very best candidatesDirectly source candidates for hard to fill rolesCreate talent pipelines for hard to fill and strategic roles, working with Talent Management team to identify future gaps and strategic pipelinesPre-screen candidates and make recommendations to hiring managersManage relationships with third party recruitment firmsInternal and external compensation benchmarking, making recommendations to HR and Hiring ManagersManage and coordinate all communication and interviews with candidates during the recruitment process and ensure a positive candidate experienceInterview candidates as required and present detailed reports to hiring managersUtilization of face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies and administration of our personality assessment toolCoach and train managers on interview guidelines and best practicesSupport and coach Hiring Managers through the Hourly Hiring process, for hard to fill positionsProvide interview and recruitment training to front line supervisors to support their hourly hiring endeavorsMaintain accurate documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager feedback, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if requiredManage background check and pre-employment medical checks, post offerWork collaboratively with HR team on the extension of offers and the management of offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full-cycle recruitingRecruitment Strategy:Work with the Talent Acquisition Manager to create a streamlined recruiting strategy and process, based on business needsProvide professional internal staffing services, minimizing requirements for 3rd party supportParticipate in the development of ongoing creative and cost effective sourcing strategiesPrepare feedback reports to the organization on recruitment activities including recruitment metrics, market trends, critical skills shortages, competitor information, and future manpower demandsEmployer Branding:Deploy employer branding strategies to support recruitment efforts in the businessLeverage employee value proposition and the marketing of such to internal and external audiencesUpdate and maintenance of our on-line presence for recruitment and careers at Lafarge (eg.
