Job Description

Provides efficient receptionist and clerical services to the organization and routine administrative support.

Duties include receiving and directing a high volume of incoming calls; greeting visitors; sorting and

distributing incoming mail; typing a variety of documents and providing clerical assistance.


  • Acts as the initial on-premise contact with visitors;

  • Provides direction to visitors and/or notifies appropriate employees;

  • Operates switchboard and receives all incoming calls;

  • Provides clerical assistance and support to other departments within office;

  • Data Entry and Filing

  • Arranges for special deliveries, registered mail, and courier services when needed

  • Perform administrative support tasks

  • Other jobs as assigned

Knowledge/Skills Requirements

  • Experience working in a receptionist position is an asset

  • Working knowledge of MS Office

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy;

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team based environment;

  • Highly organized in prioritizing work and multi-tasking;

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • Fluency in both French and English would be an asset.
