JOB TITLE: Project Manager Reports to: Director of Products & Delivery Salary Grade: Intermediate Department: Products & Delivery Date Created: March 26, 2021 Project Manager Reports To Director of Products & Delivery Purpose The Project Manager is the primary point-person responsible for planning, executing, and delivering development projects on time, within budget and in accordance with specifications. They will define project requirements and scope, acquire project resources, supervise the efforts of project team members, as well as track the project’s budget. Duties and Responsibilities Manage the entire lifecycle of assigned projects, ranging from strategic planning initiatives to tactical activities Supervise the implementation of all new system, expansions, modifications, migrations, etc. Establish a Project Charter and consolidated budget for each approved project, defining the projects goals, objectives, risks, assumptions, staffing levels, roles and responsibilities, work breakdown structure, milestones, and deliverables Conduct cost-benefit analyses, risk analyses, and ROI calculations to determine project feasibility and profitability Plan all project timelines, milestones and deliverables Organize project teams into suitable workgroups and guide the teams throughout their efforts Negotiate with other business units to obtain required resources Establish a communication plan Conduct stakeholder meetings and forums in order to solicit feedback, input and expectations Adhere to established methodologies for project management (PMBOK) Produce regular reports (status, escalations, etc.) on the progress of projects; deliver these reports as per communication plan Effectively communicate with all levels of staff, including technical, professional and upper management Assess corporate and customer culture, socio-economic factors, trends and other criteria to determine chances of project success Track, report and resolve any product issues or deficiencies Closely monitor the efforts and billing of third-party workers Identify and resolve conflicts within project teams and associate work Manage project dependencies Conduct project post mortems in order to identify areas for improvement; make recommendations based on findings Other relevant duties as required Qualifications University degree in business, or computer science or higher 5+ years of direct work experience in project management PMP certification Experience working within fintech or a financial institution as a project manager Knowledge of core banking or banking information systems will be considered an asset Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods Proficiency with Microsoft Project Intuitive grasp of organizational structure in order to manage cross-departmental and cross-disciplinary resource allocation Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic and conflict resolutions skills Able to facilitate meetings, feedback sessions and briefings Strong knowledge of financial management, technology management and internal controls Strong problem identification and resolution skills Superior verbal, written and presentation skills Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with business units, corporate departments, management and other stakeholders Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines Special Factors International travel will be required Overtime as required Ability to operate within a matrix structure Scope Will work directly with PMO office along with Business Analyst, QA Analyst, Developers, Sales , Clients and other third-party vendors Will report to the Director of Products and Delivery
