The Office of the CIO is a fast paced and dynamic team within the Information Technology organization. Specifically, the Office of the CIO is responsible for the fast-paced delivery of strategies, the setting of executive targets and the reporting to measure against them. We are also accountable for long-term planning to enable the organization to remain successful in a highly competitive environment. Job Duties/Accountabilities The Project Coordinator/Project Manager will join the OCIO team and will assume overall responsibility for the following Working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, internal departments and vendors to coordinate the collection and digestion of complex data Synthetizing large amounts of data and identifying trends, potentials risks and developing remediation plans Developing and maintaining repeatable reporting for various programs, building summary views and executive-level slides and IT dashboards Managing incoming requests, tracking and coordinating requests for time-sensitive reporting Managing a high rate of change within constrained timelines in a very fast-paced environment Facilitating multi-domain/stakeholder calls and proactively managing action registers in a timely fashion Working with global teams and across overlapping time zones Working occasional weekends and evenings as required Providing relevant and high quality project governance and communication to sponsors, executives and project team members, including key project milestones, weekly status reports, action registers, and risk assessments/contingency plans. Responding to issues and managing the customer’s expectations Managing and tracking budget activities Driving innovation and simplicity – identifying opportunities and drive process improvements, standardization, and enablers to gain efficiencies Critical Qualifications/Competencies A minimum 3 years of IT Project Management and/or Project Coordinator experience Very strong skills and high level of experience in Excel and Powerpoint Very strong organization skills, time management, and very high attention to detail Very strong ability to manage multiple parallel streams of work Very strong verbal and written communication skills Strong ability to be responsive in a timely fashion and complete deliverables in the face of multiple priorities and challenging timelines Strong negotiation and facilitation skills Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting; a self motivator Proven ability to manage fast-paced projects with a significant amount of change Ability to manage ambiguity, uncertainty and changing priorities Preferred Qualifications /Competencies Knowledge of project management methodology and best practices, proficiency using MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), proven ability to build automated IT dashboards and strong understanding of the Project Life Cycle. Formal project management training is desirable; PMI/PMP certification is not required but is considered an asset. Experience in Information Technology, along with a background knowledge of the telecommunications industry Knowledge and understanding of Bell’s network, systems, IT and Operations processes Knowledge of Bell’s residential services products Knowledge and experience in building dashboards and executive level PPT slides
