You bring previous experience leading projects varying in scope and complexity in the delivery of municipal and provincial infrastructure projects including transportation systems such as roadways, bridges, railways and transit ways, water and wastewater management, and other infrastructure projects. You’ve become known as a trusted advisor to your clients and have built strong, lasting relationships with senior leaders and decision makers. You bring in-depth knowledge and have led and managed complex projects from start to finish – on time and on budget. Look no further.What you bring:A university degree in engineering A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in project coordination andmanagement, representing owners to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of various construction methodologies, project management models and financial management, as well as relevant codes, contract law and legislationPrevious exposure to capital and municipal planning for horizontal infrastructure projectsExperience leading or considerably contributing to the preparation of RFP/Q’s, tenders and tender awards is an assetExperience leading teams providing contract administration services for civil construction projects including full-time site resident servicesP.Eng. designation required, and PMP considered an assetPreviously recognized as a team player by your peers and a positive contributor and collaborator Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proven ability to effectively influence others and resolve client, project and technical issuesFamiliarity with MMCD & CCDCExcellent communication and presentation skillsProficient in MS Project, MS Word and MS ExcelWhat success looks like:You’ve completed several infrastructure projects, varying in size and scope ideally in the relation to utilities, transportation systems, and other horizontal infrastructure and municipal workYou work closely with clients in the early conceptual stages of project initiation to ensure a strategic approach to project planning, setup and deliveryYou are a trusted advisor to the client, applying your understanding of design, construction and operation of infrastructureYour clients are impressed with your ability to represent their best interests regarding contractual and technical issuesYour project teams rely on your ability to manage change, communicate and coordinate between multiple stakeholders, resolve issues, and deliver projects on time and on budgetA strong ability to lead the control of project related documents and deliver all work in accordance with company standards and proceduresBE who you are and what you want to be with Colliers Project Leaders.
