Job Description

We are recruiting a quality-conscious and detail-oriented Project Engineer to grow with us at Aecometric Corporation. The successful candidate will join our Project Team and complete engineering design and manufacturing of our high intensity burners


  • Review and approve general drawings and manufacturing drawings
  • Create Bills of Materials and place purchase order with vendors
  • Work with fabricating staff to improve existing products and processes
  • Inspect manufacturing and testing
  • Process ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) and update shop personnel on design changes
  • Follow document control rules to maintain a database of drawings and contracts
  • Support Engineering team in designing, troubleshooting, and other functions related to projects
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects and prioritize them while working under tight deadlines
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning the workflow, space allocations and equipment layout
  • Liaise with existing suppliers to ensure product specifications are met. Sourcing potential vendors for supplying components
  • Prepare product manuals and other technical documents for internal and external use
  • Troubleshoot end-user issues and assist in the implementation of effective solutions
  • Enhance product reliability. Provide onsite service
  • 15% travel time


  • A degree/diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering. P. Eng is preferred.
  • At least 4 years of relevant manufacturing environment experience.
  • Solid Knowledge of ASME codes and standards of pressure vessels
  • Solid working experience with Compress
  • Knowledge of electrical components
  • Highly proficient in the Microsoft Suite of programs
  • Strong communications, coordination and project management skills; the ideal candidate will be required to interface with customers and suppliers
  • Is self-motivated and highly organized; able to work independently with minimum supervision in a very fast paced, results driven environment


  • Familiar with SRU burners and/or air heaters design/manufacturing/operation
