One of our top clients is reputable residential builder/developer with a 25 year old track record of developing subdivision homes across the GTA and theyre looking for a knowledgeable hands on Project administrator. You will have an opportunity to work hand in hand with the Director of construction coordinating multiple projects to further their growth as they push to new heights. What you can expect to be doing: Construction Coordinate with architects, truss and lumber companies. Coordinate with structural and civil engineers. Coordinate with HVAC and architectural control consultants. Prepare siting request. Prepare request for truss and joist drawings from trade. Prepare documentation to request grading, plumbing and building permit. Prepare request for survey. Request DC cheques for building permits from developer. Maintain summary of sales and construction spreadsheet (closing list). Create and send out lot releases. Submit all required construction drawings to portal for construction, for trades and supervisors. Communicate directly with site supervisors and site clerks. Follow-up on status of building permits. Apply/follow-up on minor variances as required. Some travel is required to official city buildings to obtain permits. In our System – update status of sale, survey, siting, permit, colour charts, lot releases, and extension letters. Approve all invoices required for drawings. Liaison with legal counsel on all amendments and minor variances as required. New Projects Review site maps. Review brochures. Coordinate signage. Review feature lists. Obtain civic addresses. Dcor Coordinate schedules for structural and colour appointments with Dcor consultants. Attend meetings with Dcor consultants. Coordinate current offerings for upgrades with Contracts Manager. Review, approve and lock structural and colour charts for accuracy. Newstar Software Upload all dcor upgrades to system. Maintain accurate pricing. Lock completed and approved files. Record Dcor invoices Record Dcor payments Requirements 2 years of project coordination within the home building industry Thorough and strong understanding of construction process and OBC Superior communication and organizational skills In depth knowledge of permits and procedure Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction Strong understanding of pricing with an excellent ability to read drawings.
