The Red Hat North America Sales team is looking for a Program Manager to join us in Toronto, Canada. In this role, you will help create and manage ongoing projects and programs within the region. You will serve on the regional leadership team and report directly to the VP of Sales as well as support initiatives across the North America Commercial ecosystem as alignment may call for. You’ll need to be highly motivated, resourceful, creative and have a solid analytical thinking skills. As a Program Manager, you will take direction on program requirements but also be expected to contribute new ideas and improvements, as well as provide the leadership to ensure successful achievement of targets across the region.Build and manage programs inside the region as needed to guide sustained performance excellence; programs may include sales training, prospecting efforts, and others as neededManage synergy initiatives inside the region and handle reporting back out to the regional or global synergy office as neededAssist in business management and financial aspects of running the day-to-day business, including forecast management, fiscal year planning, etc.Assist in the management of associates, including performance ratings, reporting, promotions, pay increases, etc.Promote a culture of delivery and accountability to ensure that programs have a high degree of impact on sales engagements and outcomesAttend regional leadership meetings and present on programs and progressAssist in planning regional meetings, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), etc.Travel as needed in support of key events, e.g., QBRs, Summit, Sales Kickoff (SKO), etc.Work with various teams to coordinate metrics and reporting, including Sales Operations, Business Finance, Synergy, Marketing, Products and Technologies (PnT), and Sales team members globallyBachelor’s or MBA degree10+ years of experience working in business, sales, sales management, or sales operationsProven ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with cross-functional teamsProven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously under pressure and under tight time-linesOrganized and detail-orientedExcellent written and verbal communications skillsPassionate about Red Hat’s mission and open source technology along with an understanding of the Red Hat’s role within IBM’s greater cloud and cognitive strategy5+ years of people or project management experience is a plusRed Hat is the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver reliable and high-performing Linux, hybrid cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
