Job description:In the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, the requirement and necessity of virtual health solutions rapidly developed. This meant converting in-person health care encounters to care delivery using virtual methods. The eHealth Virtual Health project team responded dynamically to the needs and set up technology solutions and on-boarded groups to virtual platforms. This current phase of the program of work is to manage in flight projects for enabling virtual health in the health authority, enable new technologies for virtual methods and deployment processes, and support the rapid implementation of new virtual health initiatives with the provider and patient experience of ‘virtual first’ method of delivery at the forefront.ResponsibilitiesThe Program Manager will be responsible to:Work with project resources to collect requirements, define scope, verify and control scope.Work with stakeholder groups to review, identify, clarify and prioritize business and technical requirementsProvide scoping of proposed solutionsAid in the development of a roadmap for the program and delivery of both interim and long term solutionsDefine project goals and responsibilities including creation of a responsibility assignment matrix.Have oversight of the multiple streams of work and ability to manage subprojectsDefine activities, sequence activities, estimation of resources and activity duration.Develop and control scheduleIdentify stakeholders, plan, execute and distribute communications and other related project requirementsReport on performance, budget, schedule, meeting minutes, decisions, outcomes, risks and any other reporting requirementsManage budgetIdentify high-level risks as part of the project planning processFollow FH structured project management process including Project Charter, budget, and status deliverables.Other deliverables may includeIntegration ManagementScope ManagementHuman Resource ManagementChange ManagementCommunications ManagementValuable skillsets required for this roleStrong communication and leadership skillsStrong technical skills or IT backgroundStrong team management skills that motivate and encourage collaboration in the project teamAbility to manage multiple clinical and vendor stakeholdersStrong organizational and project planning abilityPrevious experience in managing enterprise wide projectsPrevious experience in managing complex technical and clinical integration projectsMust Have: Preference towards those PM’s with a balance between leadership skills (project leadership, team-member management, and change management), and technical skills.Experience working Virtual Health solutions and technologiesExperience working in large health care organizationsExperience working at Fraser HealthExperience working on health care initiatives/projectsPossess exceptional English language oral and written communication, facilitation and presentation skillsMust be comfortable presenting to the executive levelPossess a project management professional (PMP) designation or equivalentExperience of 10+ yearsExperience working with multiple stakeholder (business, clinical, technical) groupsJob #44552
