Working on the manufacturing floor to help package test kits. There are manufacturing technician roles that you will learn but everyone starts as a packager – once the product ocmes down the line they label and package them up to send them off to warehouse for shipping. You also break down some boxes to start. you then typically move to the mixing station where you’ll create the product for testing. You are standing in every station except inventory in this role and sometimes moving and bending.
Day shift 6 AM – 2:30 PM (flex on core hours for the temp positions)
Monday – Friday
JOB TASKS: Each product could be 80 boxes so they would probably package 400 boxes in one day roughly. 10 products per box, 4000 products. The product is prepared media petri dishes. Bacteria testing for hospitals. Packages come out stacked in tens already in a wrap ten times. They also have to put the same numbers they put on the sheet into an excel spread sheet. Required to fill out paperwork and product information like how many products we made and daily cleaning of the production floor. Re-stock some bins and sweep and mop. Wrap plastic around skid and lift skid and move with pump jack.

1) Attention to detail, they need to do some minor quality inspection on the packages

**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**
-Must be able to stand for long periods
-Perform simple math
-Enter data for counts into excel
-Perform minor quality control as they inspect packages
-Use pump jack lift
-Able to wrap pallets
-lift 50 lb boxes repeatedly
-Build cardboard boxes
-Long term jobs on resume. Open to someone who hasn’t worked before but willing to work. Not challenging job so open to training.
