The Product Manager will act as a central point of contact and relationship person to critical trading and market data partners, reviewing execution opportunities, market data opportunities and helping our business partners understand the key drivers of the costs and facilitating/leading revenue/cost saving activities 

The job responsibilities of Product Manager  include

The Product Manager will be responsible for working with internal departments to develop appropriate reporting metrics surrounding trading and market data spend and revenue. The analyst will also act as an initial point of contact with trade desk, support and trading and market data providers. The individual will ensure agreements are in place, rates are appropriately negotiated and the overall strategy for execution is followed… 

Are YOU our next Product Manager ? You are if you have…

  • Knowledge of end-to-end trade life cycle functions/processes within a Capital Markets, Securities Trading, Brokerage or similar environment, gained through experience. 
  • Expert knowledge of fee structure surrounding active and passive fee structures, rebates, ecn and sec fees 
  • Expert knowledge of Market Data agreements, audits and market data fee structures 
  • Intermediate to advanced level knowledge of Excel, VBA and SQL. 
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills 
  • An ability to communicate with all individuals regardless of seniority
  • Nice-to-have:  

    Understanding of the flow of costs related to the business of a Capital Markets firm; experience in Operations a distinct asset. Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting concepts.

  • Advanced overall system and software skills, primarily in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets (including pivot tables, PowerPivot and macros, lookup functions, manipulating large volumes of data, troubleshooting) and Google Slides/PowerPoint. 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Exposure to leveraging tools such as PowerBI 
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. 
  • Works well in an entrepreneurial, hands-on team environment.
