ROLE DESCRIPTION: The Central Product Management Associate is a customer facing role where the individual will act as a bridge between SAP’s development organization and existing customer base. The individual will gain market & customer insights and help build products that customers need and love. The position is focused on understanding SAP customers’ pain points and objectives across all areas of our customer experience solution suite, and in using this information to influence key product roadmaps. The end goal is to drive positive business outcomes for SAP, and our customers. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS: Follow the latest technology trends and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities for SAP that go beyond a single application. Balance best of breed with best of suite with best tech; ensure that our customers benefit from useful features, that works together, and will also support their future growth Contributes to the success, quality, cost and delivery of a product throughout the entire product lifecycle. Work together with experts across the organization to focus on central topics, following the logic that “the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.” Regularly update product backlog to reflect customer and user needs by incorporating feedback from customers and other relevant stakeholders. Help customers and internal stakeholders (e.g. the scrum team) to understand the backlog, telling a holistic Customer Experience story that is not disjointed or conflicting. Ensure product scope is delivered by testing, demonstrating, and by validating with customers. EXPERIENCE: We are seeking individuals who are passionate about customer experience, and who are eager to be part of a team that breaks down silos and builds great products.
