Whether your skills are in financial control, planning and forecasting, data analytics or digital risk, there’s space to move your career forward in any number of directions.Your ‘day to day’Support our day-to-day business operations by: processing payroll in-house for weekly, temporary, and semi-monthly employees, as well as off-cycle pays, issuing Records of Employment to employees, and year-end tax reporting; providing all necessarydocuments to the Payroll Manager to ensure timely review and payment that complies with internal operational and SOX controls.Manage month-end related processes (e.G. journal entries, information gathering for GL account reconciliations, etc.) as well as maintain all paper and electronic payroll records in accordance with the government and audit requirements.Perform all payroll processing activities to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery for all international assignees.Respond to routine ad hoc payroll inquiries from employees, managers, and government bodies to ensure a high level of customer service.This role is temporarily remote and employees will be required to work in the office once or twice a week after covid-19 restrictionsWho we’re looking for? 5+ years in-house experience in a complex payroll environment within a mid to large-sized company.Knowledge of current federal and provincial legislation requirements and employment standards.Proven communication and customer service and skills.Completion of Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation and working towards Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designation.College Diploma or University Degree in in Human Resources, Accounting or a related field.Advanced proficiency in Excel for employee data analysis and providing variance explanations.Experience with HRIS systems; SAP knowledge is an asset.What we offerOur success depends on the men and women who come to work every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
