Our client in the ITindustry has an immediate opening for a PeopleSoft Administrator. Start Date:Within couple of weeks Shift(s) if applicable: Fulltime Wage: competitive to industry standards We Offer: A relaxed but professional work environment Corporate Industry Experience Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day administration of and support of the PeopleSoft application and associated toolsets including performance monitoring, workload management and overall maintenance to ensure maximum performance and availability. Participate in the planning, coordination and implementation of releases, upgrades or changes to the PeopleSoft application components within the PeopleSoft environment Provide specialized advice and guidance to ITC and other users to resolve technical issues, such as People Tools, Application Servers and Batch environment. Provide support in setup of Peoplesoft environments from scratch including but not limited to Data refreshes, admin setup etc As a technical expert, provide specialized advice and guidance to ITC and other users to resolve technical issues involving PeopleSoft People Tools, Application Server, File Server and Process Scheduler components. Knowledge & Skills -10 Years experience in PeopleSoft Administration and Development Resource Responsibilities: Act as the SME for Peoples soft Admin tasks and provide full support on the project from Initiation to Implementation phase of the same. Provide incident review and KT to WSIB staff to ensure stable performance. This also involves tuning.capacity planning, coordination and implementation of software installation, system set-up with third party products and overall system maintenance on all operating systems that contain PeopleSoft Applications and Tools platforms and monitoring usage to avoid system down time our outages Identify areas of potential failures or inadequacies and recommending solutions to improve or enhance the components Reviewing and analyzing system log files for anomalies errors and taking corrective action providing automated monitoring solutions on the PeopleSoft technical components in order to provide documentation to achieve a highly available 7/24 environment which is pager supported. Explore opportunities to enhance and/or improve the Peoplesoft environment this includes conducting research by reviewing technical literature, internal documentation, creation and maintenance, consulting with peers, experts and eliciting best practice opinions from vendors and other organizations, this Includes analyzing summarizing and presenting recommendations on improvements and enhancement Develop risk analysis documents, and assist with work planning efforts. Provide technical advice and expertise to other areas within ITC and business users on technical issues involving the supported PeopleSoft environment. Provide expertise on recommend guidelines governance standards and develop operational procedures regarding setup, implementation and use of the PeopleSoft components: provide regular system support to application users within and outside of ITC regarding upgrades to applications residing on the supported infrastructure, Legally Eligible to Work In Canada If hired, a Criminal Background Check will be required Follow all Safe Job Procedures, Safe Work Practices, and Company Rules INDHIGH Requirements Mandatory Skills: Work collaboratively with business leads and partners to manage complex projects that deliver strategic business solutions.8+ years Work as point of contact and support member for project activities throughout the project lifecylce.
