This is a 12 month temporary full time opportunity.What you will doAct as the first point of contact for Defined Benefit Plan employees, former employees, and retireesSend requests for pension estimates to the vendorAssign cases in i-SightEscalate inquiries that require a review of complex pension calculations to senior team members Missing member searchesProcess Beneficiary and address changesExecute Retirement elections and DeathsFile reviewFiling – pulling and boxing pension files Perform basic calculations and prepare ad-hoc pension packagesSend out 30- & 60-day follow-up letters for Terminations that have been processed by the Pension SpecialistSpecial Projects as requiredWhat you will bringExcellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to clearly explain difficult conceptsAttention to detail & high level of accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong customer service skillsExperience with Excel and Word Pension or other retirement-related product experience as assetBilingual English/French is an asset Mathematical ability an assetBe your best at Canada Life- Apply todayWe are one of Canada”s top 100 employers!Canada Life serves the financial security needs of more than 13 million people across Canada, with additional operations in Europe and the United States.
