The OTM Application Manager oversees, mentors and develops the team of Business System Analysts and serves as the champion of system quality, performance, configuration, maintenance and security, and works cross functionally to recommend and implement improvements and eliminate inefficiencies.Manage and support the design, development, and administration of all applications and services within the OTM eco-system, related software tools and interfaces. Develop, maintain and achieve consensus on a Transportation Systems rolling 3-5 year Road Map Manage, develop and guide the team of Transportation Business System AnalystsChampion process, documentation, and training. Ensure business processes are in line with system functionality and best practice and partner with the business team to ensure that documentation and training aids are available and accurateLead implementations and improvement projects ensuring proper governance is followed and that solutions are fully documented, high quality and successfully adopted by our business partnersEvaluate the transportation systems to ensure the business needs are being met, including all compliance requirementsProvide set-up and configuration of security roles, tables, workflow, and business rulesImplement new functionalities as provided by vendors via upgrades, patches and releases, including managing related testingProvide expertise and recommendations for building reports and manipulating data and ensure FTI is appropriately leveragedEnsure change management processes and project governance guidelines are adhered to and that high-quality documentation is a key deliverable for all initiativesForge relationships with the business. Communicate well and clearly, taking the time to understand user feedback and incorporate into recommendations and requirementsDemonstrate leadership, flexibility and the ability to lead direct reports and business Power Users and effectively interface with various managers.Consistently achieving consensus is a key attribute of the successful OTM Application ManagerBachelor”s Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or another business-related field.Minimum of 7 years hands-on OTM experienceMinimum of 5 years experience managing a team of BSA professionalsMinimum of 5 years experience managing transportation systems in a CPG environment including optimizing CPU processes and working with customer systems/portalsThorough understanding of OTM BI reporting and FTI and experience leveragingExperience implementing value added services such as Fourkites, Loadsmart and Uber FreightOracle OTM Cloud certifications would be an assetOrganized and task oriented.
