WHO WE ARE

DBI is a privately held, family-owned company that manufactures and sells dental tools through distribution centers located in Canada and the USA. We're looking for someone to manage the daily operations of our Toronto branch.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The Operations Manager is a key link in the flow of inventory in-between our stores, vendors and distribution centre. This role will oversee the teams responsible for picking orders, sending products, planning and managing inventory. The ideal candidate in this role is someone who is organized and has excellent communication skills. To be successful in this role it is important that you are organized; detail oriented and has strong interpersonal skills. A background in eCommerce is a bonus. 

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

  • Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintain Inventory levels
  • Prepare shipments for Export
  • Report low inventory for reorder
  • SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Experience in a warehouse is required
  • Experience maintaining Inventory
  • Knowledge of Shipping software EST, FedEx
  • Export and shipping documentation B13, HS codes,
  • Ability to lift up to approximately 25-30 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year dependent on skill set
